The fixed time has started for the election of members of the Provincial Assembly and the House of Representatives to be held on November 4. Fixed time has started from Friday.
The election commission has said that after the start of the time period, election campaigning will not be allowed through any other means of social media or online.
According to the Election Commission, no message, information or propaganda material can be posted or shared in favor or against a political party or candidate through social media, online, print or any other means.
In addition, sound system, short message service (SMS), social media or any other similar means or means may not be used for election propaganda and soliciting votes.
Similarly, political parties and candidates, party’s sister organizations should remove the advertisements and election propaganda materials made through social media.
