Now it is possible to pay electricity tariff up to 5 lakh rupees from the pocket. For this, Khalti has entered into an agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority.
The agreement letter was signed by Manoj Silwal, Deputy Executive Director of Distribution and Customer Service Directorate and Jonam Bhurtel, Manager of Khalti Digital Wallet on behalf of Nepal Electricity Authority.
After filling all the details by going to the ‘Electricity’ icon on the home page of Khalti app, you can tap on the ‘Get Details’ button and pay the electricity fee easily from 10 am to 12 midnight.
Jonam Bhurtel, Manager of Khalti Digital Wallet, said that he believes that this collaboration with the Electricity Authority will contribute to reducing the hassle of standing at the counter to pay the electricity tariff and saving the time of the customers with the modern facilities of Khalti.
