Meta’s latest AI can translate 200 languages in real time. Now more than 7000 languages are spoken in the world and the reach of all these languages is gradually increasing.
Six months ago, the company announced the No Language Left Behind project. It trains AI to translate different languages easily.
Confirming its success in this field, the company has released the NLLB 200 model, which can translate 200 different languages.
It includes languages especially popular in Asia and Africa. When translating, not one of the languages is English, which makes it especially difficult for AI, and Meta is slowly solving this problem as well.
