Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation has expanded its branches in 77 districts. With the expansion of branches in Humla a few days ago, the presence of CAN Federation has increased in 77 districts.

In 2058 BS, the first branch of CAN Federation was formed in Rupandehi under the leadership of the current president Nawaraj Kunwar. But coincidentally, the federation has reached 77 districts under Kunwar’s leadership.

FNJ President Nawaraj Kunwar said that digital awareness will be further enhanced after the federation reaches 77 districts.

“Speaking of digital Nepal, we are now three generations,” he told ICT News. “The first generation (senior citizens) who do not know about information technology. The second generation is you, us, who are getting used to information technology. The next generation is the youth, who are growing up playing with information technology. ‘

According to Chairman Kunwar, CAN Federation is working in every district to bridge this three-generation gap, with the aim of increasing digital awareness.

CAN Federation has an important role to play in the development of information technology in Nepal. Computer Association Nepal was established in 1992. Then in 2015, the Computer Association of Nepal was transformed into a federation.
