A new call tab has been added to Messenger. The design of the messenger has been modified so that the call button can be easily found.
The new Call tab is next to Chats, Stories and People. By clicking there, the contact details of various users will be available along with the voice and video call feature.
This feature will make Messenger WhatsApp look like an app that can call and message. So far, the person to be called had to open a separate chat thread.
But now that feature can be found from the call tab itself. According to Meta, compared to 2020, voice and video calls through Messenger have increased by 40 percent.
